The association Siuntio Soi – Musik in Sjundeå celebrated its first honorary chairman a little before Midsummer. Martinus Schuurman founded the festival Lux Musicae together with Pami Karvonen. Schuurman has held various positions in the association as chairman, vice chairman and board member since 2000 and continues still as an active member of the board.
Above all, Schuurman has been and still is an important asset in creating the artistic line of the festival.
