Sakari Mäkelä has compiled a photo exhibition about the birds of Sjundeå in collaboration with Eero Hauta-aho. The exhibition serves as a prelude to the Lux Musica Festival’s opening on Thursday, November 18th, at 6 PM at the Educational Campus Siuntio heart.
Torsten Stjernberg, formerly the curator at the Natural History Museum and now a visiting researcher at the University of Helsinki, has conducted research on birds and authored several articles about them. He is also one of the contributors to the work “The Birds of the von Wright Brothers.” Stjernberg is well acquainted with Ivar Hortling’s production. During the festival’s opening, we will have the opportunity to hear his thoughts on birds and ornithology, as well as the significance of preserving biodiversity in nature.
