Tommi Korpela (b. 1968) graduated from the Theater Academy in 1995. Korpela has acted in series such as Nortia, Remontti and Firma, as well as in several theater roles at Q-Teatteri and Espoo City Theater and Teatro Takomo. Korpela’s first film lead was in Peter Lindholm’s film Isältä pojalle (1996). He has acted in films such as Vadelmavenepakolainen, Raja 1918 and Tummien perhosten koti.
Korpela received his first Jussi Award in 2008 for the best male lead in the film Miehen työ, the second in Putoavia enkeleitä and the third in Häiriötekijä.
