The concert is a musical trip to Siuntio and its history.
At the same time, the life of the unique Charlotta Lönnqvist is illuminated. That extraordinary woman was a hostess, a wolf catcher, but above all, Aleksis Kivi’s patron. In his book Saapasnahkatorni, Teemu Keskisarja characterizes Lönnqvist as the poorest patron in Finland. In the concert Maria Lindén talks about Charlotta Lönnqvist life.
This era of Kivis and Lönnqvist time is also conveyed in the selection of music, where female composers of the time finally get their music played.
The music trip is also a tribute to Siuntio because the concert will feature two premieres, both of which are the result of the Siuntio 560 composition competition: the works of Niels Burgmann and Teemu Halmkrona will be heard as premieres!
