Charlotta Lönnqvist´s Birth Anniversary

Charlotta Lönnqvist from Siuntio was involved in many things, born 4.2.1815. The landlady of the Fanjunkars cottage organized parties, caught wolves and looked after Aleksis Kivi. The Lux Musicae festival has also made Charlotta’s life’s work known, when Maria Lindén told about this exceptional woman at the “I am alive -Minä elän” festival. Kaija Saarikettu had compiled works by contemporary composers for the concert – all compositions by women!
