Andreas Brantelid had to cancel his participation in Lux Musicae unexpectedly. His replacement will be Artturi Aalto, who already won the hearts of the people of Siuntio last year.
Artturi Aalto started studying cello in 2006 at the Espoo Music Institute and in 2013 joined the Sibelius Academy’s Youth Department as a student of Timo Hanhinen. In 2018, he began his studies with Professor Marko Ylönen. In his last years at the Sibelius Academy he was taught by Ola Karlsson and Andreas Brantelid. Artturi is currently studying at the Norwegian Academy of Music under Torleif Thedeen.
Artturi is one of the artistic directors of the Radalla Festival. In 2022 he won 2nd prize at the Turku Cello Competition.
