Aleksis Kivi and Charlotta Lönnqvist are the musical stars of the upcoming Lux Musicae. During the festival, Rautavaara’s Aleksis Kivi opera will be heard in the Heart of Siuntio, the education campus, on November 18.
Saturday 19.11. modern kantele music will be heard in the concert Metsola’s kantele and on Sunday 20.11. the new music meets the music of Charlotta’s time. We also hear more about Kivi’s poorest patron, this remarkable woman Charlotta, who lived in Siuntio.
Children and youngsters have also been taken into account. There is a concert for those under 12 on Saturday. Those under 16 can still attend the concerts free of charge. The new kantele music is rocking!
