The libretto relates the parable of a soldier who trades his fiddle to the devil in return for unlimited economic gain and to know the future. Igor Stravinsky, Russian-born composer, pianist, and conductor is widely considered one of the most important and influential  composers of the 20th century.

The presentation of the Soldier´s Tale has been made possible by co-operation with the Lohja Orchestra.

Tickets can be bought in cash at Siuntio Library and Siuntio Scandic Hotel. Please, check opening hours. If you buy three tickets, you get the fourth one for free. Those under the age of 16 can enter the concert free of charge. The price of the ticket 25 €.

Carl Michael Bellman was a Swedish songwriter, composer, musician, poet and entertainer. He is a central figure in the Swedish song tradition and remains a powerful influence in Swedish music as well as in Scandinavian literature, to this day. Suitia’s unique knight´s hall is like made for Bellman´s music!
