Hooray! 100 years of Finland!

Swedish baritone Gabriel Suovanen (born 1974), has studied both in Sibelius Academy and in Stockholm Royal Opera School. He has made a remarkable career, including  Timo Mustakallio singing-competition already in the year 1998. His repertoire is impressive.

Suovanen has interpretered legendary Finns in opera productions, for example Paavo Nurmi, composed by Tuomas Kantelinen and Aleksis Kivi, composed by Einojuhani Rautavaara.

Ilmo Ranta is very well known lied-pianist and accompanies Suovanen in this special concert.
